The activity that I feel represents a "real life" experience was the hula hoop pass. This activity integrated everyone in the class and got everyone to work as a group. The ability to work as a group could also be extremely useful and critical in a job setting, when you are forced to work with coworkers. It showed that no one can complete something without a little help. This is exactly what was used when we passed this hula hoop around, everyone got through the hoop by their neighbor helping them in some way. This concept goes beyond our gym class, for it can be incorporated into any situation under any circumstance. In essence, everyone gets by with a little help from a friend.
I would say the cross the bridge activity represents a real life experience. This activity forced everyone in your group to work together to complete a task. You could not do it on your own, you needed to communicate with your group to strategize the best way to "cross the bridge." This connects to real life in the sense that at one point or another you will be faced with an obstacle which requires you to work with other people. Developing communication skills as well as taking leadership roles when necessary are vital to effectively conpleteing a task with a group of people.
I think that the "red handed" activity we did could represent dont judge a book by its cover. I think that because the person deciding who has the paper-clip had to look at everyone and judge by their expression or actions who has it. And that could mislead them to choose someone who doesn't have the paper-clip. Just like looks can mislead someone about their personality.
i think that the hula hoop activity represented "real life" the best because it forced us to work as a group. not only did we have to help out the poeple next to us get through the hoop, but as a class we had to talk out stratigies and think of ways to make the task simpiler.
I liked the paperclip one the most it just involved more thinking than the rest and learning about others emotions and reactions. It truly helps you know a person
I think that the Hula Hoop Pass was the game that related to real life the most. Sometimes you would go through the hula hoop with ease, and then pass it onto the person next to you. Although, sometimes the hula hoop would get stuck on your shoulder and it took the help of the person next to you to get it over your head. I think that the hula hoop represents the problems and challenges you face in the world, and the circle that we made represents the group of people that are close to you. Sometimes the problems or challenges are small and you can get though them easily by your self, but sometimes you need some help from people close to you to get through the problem or challenge. The Hula Hoop Pass was a game that I feel directly relates to real life experiences the most.
I think that the hula hoop pass can represent real life. in the activity people thought that they could get the hula hoop over their head without help from the person next to them, but they really couldnt. the person they were holding hands with would have to life their arm to get it over their the head. it connects to real life becuse it shows that even though people think they dont need others help, they really do.
I believe the activity that most represented a " real life expierence" was the hula hoop pass. Throughout your life you are going to have to be able to work with those around you to accomplish a common goal, much like the activity had you do.
The activity most related to real life would have to be the hula hoop pass. Like most things in life, you need help from those around you in order to meet a goal. This is especially true when such a big group is involved in completing the same task. We all needed to pay attention and work together, if one person didn't try, the whole group would fail. You need the help of people around you, and they need your help, too.
I think the cross the bridge activity represented real life pretty accurately. In the activity, you had to remain connected in order to accomplish the goal. In real life, you can't accomplish anything without staying connected to people around you. Nothing can necessarily be done alone, everything takes a little teamwork.
I would say that the hula hoop pass could easily represent a real life experience. By integrating everyone to accomplish one goal, it shows the connection needed with each person to finish. In real life, it's neccesary to use everyone to accomplish a group goal. Maybe not physically attached but mentally attached so all can lend to finishing the goal.
Life is like the hula hoop pass game. Though we may not realize it, life resembles the hoola hoop game in many ways. We all have to work together and we all have to help each other in positive ways. Like the hoop can continue going around and around, we should also never stop helping each other.
I think that the hula hoop test was the best, simply because it was the activity where everyone participated. usually people can get side tracked and distracted but in this activity we were all holding hands which connected all of us and made us focus more.
I think the activity that best represented real life was the hula hoop one. I think so because even though it depended on a single person to get themself through the hoop, they still had their neighbors on either side of them helping them. This is like real life because there are obviously going to be situations that you are going to have to get out of by yourself, but there are always going to be people helping you along the way
hmmm, i can't really choose one.. but i guess i would have to say the Hula Hoop Pass was somewhat of a real life experience. Only because it showed how we had to help one another to really accomplish something. even if it was probably one of the easiest things we could do. it obviously took us a long time because we weren't all trying..
I think that the block one was like life because everyone was all weird about getting close to people and never even tried to complete the task at hand. In life people are so worried about things being avkward that they rather just not do it then try. I personaly think it's ridiculous but that is just how society is these days and it sucks.

I liked the dridge activity cuz it really made people work together as one to accomplish something. Teamwork is part of everyday life.
I think that the hula hoop pass represents a real life because everyone hold hands and try to pass it together. It is like accomplishing something.

all of the tasks asked of us to do are all examples of teambuilding and surviving together. <-- example of real life situations
